Business Application Rates
Business app connectors sync your data into the Athenic Warehouse. You pay only for what syncs — querying the data afterwards is free.
Data sync is billed on the number of unique rows added or updated in your connected app during a calendar month. Each unique row is counted once per month, regardless of how many times it changes or re-syncs — syncing the same row again never incurs an additional charge.
Rates apply marginally, like tax brackets — each rate prices only the rows inside its band, on top of the base fee; the estimator above does the math for you. Charges are computed on exact row counts and debited daily from your credit balance (250 credits = $1) as data lands.

How do credits work?+
Athenic runs on a prepaid credit system — credits are consumed as you use the platform (running queries, building dashboards, executing automations, and so on). Free accounts include 5,000 one-time credits to explore the product; Pro tops up at 250 credits per $1 with no contract.
What happens when I run out of credits?+
On Free, you can upgrade to Pro at any time to keep going. On Pro, you can enable auto-recharge or top up manually. Enterprise plans include custom credit allotments negotiated with your account team.
How are business app connectors billed?+
Business app connectors (like Google Ads) sync your data into the Athenic Warehouse and are billed on usage: each connection is charged for the rows it syncs each month on a declining tiered rate, debited daily from your credit balance as data lands. Warehouse storage is billed monthly at $0.052 per GB. The initial historical sync is free, schema-change re-syncs are free, and querying your synced data costs nothing extra — see the Business Application Rates table above for the full schedule.
What counts as an active row?+
An active row is a unique row added or updated in your connected business app during the calendar month. Each unique row is billed once per month regardless of how many times it changes or re-syncs — syncing the same row repeatedly never incurs an additional charge, and rows that don't change at all aren't billed.
What happens to my connectors if I run out of credits?+
Auto-recharge tops up your balance first. If it can't — no card on file or auto-recharge disabled — syncing pauses until the balance is positive again, and organization admins are notified by email. Already-synced data stays fully queryable the whole time, and connections paused for billing resume automatically once the balance recovers.
Can I change tiers later?+
Yes — upgrade or downgrade at any time. Existing credits stay in your account and carry across tier changes.
Do you offer refunds on credits?+
Unused credits aren't refundable, but they don't expire either — you can use them whenever you need them as long as your account is active.
Do you offer annual billing or volume discounts?+
Pro is usage-based with no commitment. Enterprise plans can include annual commitments and volume discounts — reach out to sales@athenic.com for a quote.
